How does time go by so fast?
It feels like just yesterday my daughter was little and obsessed with every animal she met. Honestly, I’m pretty sure if it had fur, feathers, or four legs, she wanted to bring it home.
And now she’s starting her veterinary assistant practicum.
I’m so proud of her.
She’s worked hard to get here, and now she gets to do something she truly loves: work with animals, learn from professionals, and put all that studying into practice.
Of course, this also means she’ll probably come home with even more animal stories… and possibly a few suggestions about pets we “absolutely need.”
As a mom, these milestones are a little bittersweet. One minute they’re kids asking if they can keep the stray cat they found, and the next they’re adults building careers of their own.
I’m so excited to see where this next chapter takes her.
But seriously… how did we get here so fast? ❤️
