I’ve recently discovered that Halo has a social life I know absolutely nothing about.
We’ll be outside, minding our own business, when a neighbor stops us.
“Is that Halo?”
Not “your cat.”
Halo.
By name.
Then they proceed to tell me how friendly she is, how she visits them, how she rolls around on the sidewalk for attention, or how she follows them down the street like they’ve been friends for years.
Meanwhile, I’m standing there thinking… when exactly did my cat become the neighborhood celebrity?
She has fans.
She has regular appearances.
At this point, I’m fairly certain she knows more people in the neighborhood than I do.
And Halo, of course, acts like this is completely normal. She accepts the compliments, gets her scratches, and looks at me like I’m simply part of her entourage.
Honestly, I’m just waiting for someone to ask me to take a picture of them with her.
I probably shouldn’t joke.
It’s coming.

I know she made the delivery guy pet her too.
All the best,
Tia
