I’m back from Harrison Hot Springs, and I’m already wondering why I can’t have a hot spring pool installed in my backyard.
Is that really too much to ask?
We had such a lovely, relaxing trip. We spent plenty of time in the different hot spring pools, which is exactly as wonderful as it sounds. Warm water, nowhere I needed to be, and absolutely no reason to think about my to-do list.
Perfect.
Of course, we also had some amazing food.
Anyone who knows me knows this is a very important part of any vacation. I appreciate the scenery. I appreciate the relaxing atmosphere. But tell me where we’re eating.
We also went on an afternoon boat cruise, which was gorgeous. There’s something about being out on the water with beautiful scenery around you that makes it very easy to forget you have emails waiting at home.
I highly recommend forgetting your emails occasionally.
We finished the holiday with a family barbecue, which felt like the perfect ending. Good food, family, and one last excuse to eat before admitting the vacation was officially over.
Now I’m home, relaxed, well fed, and trying to convince myself that getting back to regular life is a good thing.
I’m still working on that part.
